Designed for full size frogs around heavy vegetation, the Frog-X has some tip but not too much and plenty of backbone to drive the hooks home. Many “frog” rods on the market are broomstick stiff or way too light in power to be considered a true frog rod in our books. We believe this rod has just the right amount of tip combined with plenty of reserve power to muscle fish to the boat. It also serves as a fantastic pitching and football jig rod.
